About the Show
A flamboyant and illustrious career on the stage has led DOLLY DIAMOND to this, her most exciting MIDSUMMA FESTIVAL show to date. This year marks her eleventh Festival and so Dolly lifts the lid on a number of her untold stories and secrets – like the 9 months she spent with the circus – and her constant need to work with penniless amateurs.
This MIDSUMMA 2015 PREMIER EVENT features fabulous new music, a dazzling array of beautiful couture costumes by ELYSIAN CREATIONS, along with incredible special guests dixieland jazz sextet, SHIRAZZ, and also featuring the talents of RACHEL DUNHAM, JONATHAN DUFFY and SEXY GALEXY. Dolly is also thrilled to welcome JEDA CACIOLI and SHARON WILLS as her gorgeous backing vocalists.
For three nights only Dolly Diamond will raze the roof of the MELBA SPIEGELTENT in Collingwood with Dolly’s own funky little five-piece band led by Musical Directors CAMERON THOMAS and CALEB GARFINKEL.
