Circulation are a minimalist/free jazz ensemble featuring Caleb Garfinkel (guitar/laptop), Bryce Clark (piano/organ) and Nathan Power (drums/bells and whistles). Through extended forms and slow-evolving crescendos they create vast ambient atmospheres which slowly take listeners on a journey of vivid emotion and wonder. Influenced by the likes of The Necks, Steve Reich, and Brian Eno, all Circulation pieces are completely improvised and are focused on building atmosphere, painting a soundscape on which to inject thought, feelings and desires onto.
